closing

holy smokes.

we are closing. on a house.
like buying one.
in 2 days.
tomorrow im calling to put the electricity in our name.
this. is. FOR. REAL.

i mean. its normal to wonder if this is a good decision right??!?!
i mean purchasing anything makes us nervous.
we freaked out about buying a used car for gracious sakes.
something that cost more than 100,000$ SHOULD FREAK YOU OUT... RIGHT?

ok. maybe thats all i have to freak out about now.
i mean- other than the fact as soon as we have a couple kids we have outgrown the house, this house is perfect for us. and i suppose our backyard is big enough we can let any 3rd child just live out there. granted... we dont have one child. pretty sure a 3rd child shouldn't be a thought right now.

ok. back to our home.
we are getting the carport roofed today.
we close friday.

omg. im so excited.
i told ryan i want to spend the night friday night ;)

we won't be moving out 100% until june, but yes. i will start moving STUFF this weekend. lordy- we have a basment AND and attic. our christmas decor is moving asap.
along with our futon... in case anyone has a late night at the house.
hm. what else should we move right away? towels?? cleaning supplies?
let me know if you have any ideas.
anyone else moved slowly over a couple months?

i know people read this blog... so friends. give me advice ;)

and. btw. i had the BEST birthday ever.
fun weekend with great friends.
4 days with my dear friend lauren.
a NEW WATCH! thanks to my hubby and his sneaky self.
and of course a cool tattoo.

im pumped about 28 and the year that is to come!
new house. maybe a baby. new job for ryan.
a new exciting chapter for sure.

  1. If you plan on painting, do it before you move anything into that room. It makes it so much easier!
