Quilting update.

So I have this CRAZY idea of making a 1600 square top quilt. I found an amazing tutorial: and am giving it a go. Slowly. This quilt is going to take some major time, but if I tinker with it here and there in between other quilts I will get it finished one day. Here is the start! 

Lots and Lots and LOTS of strips. 

Then sewn together and cut up, and sewed back together. 

My first two blocks done! These blocks measure 5x5 inches.... so you can imagine how tiny those squares are! The final quilt needs 100 of these 16square blocks.... two down and only 98 more to go!
