parental advice:
let me take a moment and share a little bit of parenting "medical" advice.
(im sure you are happy for something new on this blog)
anyway.
if you decide to take your child to an urgent care because he/she complains of a stomach ache for the past two weeks..... that would be fine.
but if you continue to say, i think it might be his/her diet. the child will only eat chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, cereal and yoo-hoo's. thats it. for 2 weeks.
please dont take your child to the urgent care.
please figure out how to give your child fruits and veggies. juice. something.
and perhaps don't give your 6 year old a yoo-hoo multiple times a day.
ok. that is all.
i know i don't have a child, and i don't know how hard it is to get a kid to eat fruits and veggies... but. i do know you could probably attempt to be creative.
or at the very least bribe your kid to eat an apple with a yoo-hoo as a reward.
do something!
ok. im done.
oh the things that come in to the urgent care.
((ps. the child was fine. happy. cheerful. no belly pain on palpation. belly sounds in tact. just thought i'd let you know i did fully exam the child))
