just when i thought waiting was hard...
... it got harder.
let me back up.
we found another house!! one we loveeeee. too much. way more than any other house.
so much so we put in an offer right away. same day.
boom.
ok i know. you might think. danielle. wtf. you can't rush into that sort of thing.
i say... when you see a gem of a home that comes with .34 acres, a fenced back yard, and you can walk to restaurants, and your husband says "i love that one". you JUMP on it.
((also. its just an offer. you can back out. or change your mind.))
so now... we are waiting. we put the offer in sunday night. thought we'd hear back yesterday, but all we got was a "i need some time to look this over". ok. well look it on over partner. haha. today ive been anxiously waiting for news.
i'd love a "yes. done. sold. we love your offer".
i won't be surprised if we get a "nope. full price please".
ok i might be a little surprised, but it happened to us once, so we shall see.
in other news... awesome exciting news...
my parents home has been off and on the market (due to various reasons) for the past 3 years.
this past week... UNDER CONTRACT!!!
PRAISE THE LORD!
my parents have been waiting for years. and the perfect family walked right in. the kids came over and ran all over the house. its a perfect situation for my parents and the family buying the home.
the Lord certainly teaches us things as we wait. and He shows us His grace and glory after we have waited.
i am reminding myself that often. waiting is hard. slowing down and being patient is something one must strive to do. but along the way you can learn so much and grow in new unexpected ways.
